3 months have passed on this weight loss journey. 3 MONTHS! If I was pregnant, this would be the mark where I could start saying "I'm pregnant!" But I'm not. Yet. Losing weight and keeping the goal of having a baby is a huge motivation in this process.
I've lost just about 44 pounds. I'm hoping to easily hit the 50 mark by Thanksgiving. 50 pound increments is when the clinic takes pictures and measurements and stuff. Hubby got that last week. I'm so proud of him!!
I've definitely noticed the loss in my clothes. I've been wearing jeans that I haven't worn, but held on to, for 5+ years. Tops are looser. Even my bra is a little smaller, although that better not change much. I doubt it will. I've always had big boobs regardless of my weight size.
I've also joined a gym, and have tried going at least twice a week to the water aerobics classes. They also have a "cardio theater" where it's dark and every day they have a movie playing on a loop. The other day I was laughing so hard watching Confessions of a Shopalohic that time flew by. I'm hoping the activity makes the scale go down a little faster!
I'm almost halfway there, and even though the holidays are coming and I've been busy and stressed and WANT FOOD, I have resisted. I've found comfort in trying out some new soups and adding in the bars. It's given more variety to just shakes.
